The One Verified Code Worth Knowing
Right now there is just one confirmed promo code attached to Great Blue Heron Casino and Hotel: DURPRD26. It comes out of a North Durham Pride partnership and is tied specifically to hotel stays at the on-site property. When you reach the discount field during your booking, type in DURPRD26 exactly as it appears - no spaces, no extra symbols - and it will unlock the PRIDE corporate rate on your room.
That is the entire story on gaming bonus codes. There are no others hiding in the background. Great Blue Heron is a land-based casino in Port Perry, Ontario and it does not operate its own online casino platform. So there is no registration bonus, no deposit match, no digital promo code for online slots or table games here. If you have been hunting for that kind of online code connected to this brand, that search can stop now.
| Code | Type | What It Covers |
|---|---|---|
| DURPRD26 | Hotel discount | Room bookings at Great Blue Heron Casino and Hotel |
This code appears through the North Durham Pride partner program. It is not a generic public rate pushed everywhere, but it is also not some secret - it is simply a rate that sits inside that specific partnership channel.
Great Canadian Rewards is where the real promotions live
For ongoing offers at the property, Great Canadian Rewards is the main engine. That loyalty program covers every Great Canadian Entertainment venue in Ontario, and Great Blue Heron sits inside that group. Promotions rotate based on season, holidays and events, so what shows up in spring is not guaranteed to be around in fall.
One concrete example we can point to: there was a Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet promotion at Waters Edge Restaurant, the on-site dining space. Great Canadian Rewards members who spent at least CAD 40 in cash on the buffet - before tax and gratuities - received CAD 20 in Free Play. To claim it, members went to Guest Services with their receipt. It was limited to one receipt per member per day, so no stacking multiple bills to double-dip.
In practice, using these offers tends to look like this flow.
- Set up or sign in to your Great Canadian Rewards account before your visit.
- Go to the promotions section on greatcanadian.com and look for active Great Blue Heron offers.
- Read the terms closely: required spend, valid dates, whether it is only for members.
- Head to the casino and complete whatever qualifying action is listed in the promo.
- Bring your Rewards card or member ID along to Guest Services.
- Show your receipt or other proof that you met the conditions.
- Pick up your Free Play or other credited benefit as outlined in the offer.
- Use the Free Play on eligible slots or tables during the same trip, watching any expiry rules.
These offers do not stay static. Checking the official page shortly before each visit is genuinely worth the couple of minutes - the team at the desk cannot honor a deal that has already rolled off the calendar.
A small habit that helps in our experience: if you are planning a visit around one particular promotion, grab a quick screenshot of the terms page before you leave home. Sites update, banners get swapped, and having the original wording on your phone has prevented more than a few awkward conversations at guest services counters.
How to book a room with DURPRD26
Great Blue Heron Casino and Hotel sits at 21777 Island Road, Port Perry, Ontario, L9L 1B6. The hotel connects directly with the casino complex; you are not being sent to a building down the highway. Average nightly rates tend to sit around CAD 150, but that number shifts a bit depending on date patterns and the room category you choose.
Here is how booking with the code usually goes.
- Go to the property’s booking page or call the hotel reservations team.
- Select your check-in and check-out dates. Standard check-in is after 4:00 PM and checkout is before 11:00 AM.
- Pick the room type that fits your stay.
- Find the discount, corporate, or promo code box in the booking form.
- Enter DURPRD26 exactly as written.
- Make sure the PRIDE corporate rate shows up on the pricing summary before you confirm anything.
- Finish the reservation and keep your confirmation number somewhere handy.
For direct bookings, the hotel reservations line is 1-888-399-4998. There is also a broader Great Canadian reservations line at 1-888-224-2928 that can handle bookings for this same property. If you are leaning toward using a third-party travel site instead, check ahead of time whether DURPRD26 is honored in that channel. Partner rates often only apply through a specific booking path, and finding out that the code does not work after you have already paid is frustrating.
| Booking Channel | DURPRD26 Accepted | Contact |
|---|---|---|
| Direct hotel reservations | Confirmed via partner offer | 1-888-399-4998 |
| Great Canadian reservations line | Likely - same property | 1-888-224-2928 |
| Third-party travel sites | Unconfirmed - verify first | N/A |
